• NSW Government signs Second Social Benefit Bond contract to support vulnerable families

  NSW Treasurer Mike Baird and Minister for Family and Community Services Pru Goward announced the NSW Government has signed a contract for Australia’s second Social Benefit Bond. The bond will fund the Benevolent Society to support some of NSW’s most vulnerable families.

• $585 million to launch the National Disability Insurance Scheme

  The NSW Liberals & Nationals Government has demonstrated its commitment to the National Disability Insurance Scheme, allocating $585 million in the Budget for the Hunter launch which begins in July 2013.
