The Family & Community Services Annual is now available. It reports on the work undertaken by our department which includes Aboriginal Housing Office, Ageing, Disability and Home Care, Community Services, Housing NSW, Women NSW, Office for Ageing, Office for Carers. The departments financial statements and funds granted to non government Organisations are provided as separate volumes below.
Women in NSW 2012 presents compelling data on indicators that compare women and men in terms of health, education, work and financial security, leadership, and safety and access to justice. The purpose of the report is to raise awareness of gender issues and to strengthen the evidence base for government, business and community action on issues concerning women. Women in NSW will be published annually so that progress and trends can be tracked over time.
Minister for Family and Community Services Pru Goward has published the Child Deaths 2011 Annual Report. The report examines Community Service's involvement with the families of 110 children and young people known to the agency who died in 2011.
