Right to Information (formerly FOI)

The Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) is committed to ensuring the public’s right to information meets the requirements of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) and that we appropriately respond to other requests for information.

Access to FACS information may be considered through either formal or informal applications. This is currently managed by each FACS agency individually. Your application should be made direct to the relevant agency. You will also find more information about GIPA on each agency website, including application forms:
